Meet I3 Engineering’s 2024 summer interns: Megan, Eli, and Cole! This summer, they gained valuable field and office experience as part of our Survey and Mapping team.
Megan - Fairmont State University, Civil Engineering Technology
Eli - Fairmont State University, Geomatics Engineering Technology
Cole - Glenville State University, Land Surveying and Mapping
In the field, they assisted our surveyors with a variety of tasks, including as-built surveys of pipelines, construction stakeouts requiring high precision, laser scanning facilities for 3D modeling, and utilizing drones for topographic surveying. In the office, they supported our mapping efforts by plotting parcel deeds and learning how to research through online portals for original deeds and landowner information.
We extend our sincere thanks to Megan, Eli, and Cole for playing a key role in advancing I3 Engineering as your Mid-Atlantic leader in natural gas project surveying, engineering, and project management. It has been a highly productive summer and we wish them the best as they head back to the classroom this fall!
